Welcome to the Wildland Adventure Resilience Program (WARP)

The Wildland Adventure Resilience Program (WARP) is a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of wildland firefighters. After the grueling demands of fire season, WARP provides therapeutic, adventure-based retreats designed to help these heroes recharge, heal, and reconnect with the landscapes that inspire them.

WARP’s mission is simple yet vital—to foster resilience, optimism, and community for those who face some of the toughest challenges in public service. Through immersive nature experiences and personalized therapeutic activities, WARP creates a space for reflection, support, and recovery.

What Makes WARP Unique?

WARP blends adventure with wellness in ways that are truly meaningful. Participants can explore activities tailored specifically to their needs, such as:

  • Guided trips that combine environmental stewardship with self-reflection and group bonding.

  • Ocean-based sessions to release stress and find balance, in partnership with surf therapists and mental health professionals.

  • Opportunities for solitude and emotional renewal, with a focus on mindfulness and connection to nature.

  • Powerful interactions with horses that foster trust, awareness, and healing.

  • Guided rock climbing trips that allow for self-reflection, confidence building, and community.

Our program is built in collaboration with incredible organizations, including The Eric Marsh Foundation, Higher Ground, The Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation, Mystery Ranch, Yeti, and The Wildland Project.

Together, we ensure that each retreat offers unparalleled support and understanding for those we serve.

Program Development & Launch

While WARP is still in development, we are working tirelessly with our partners and mental health practitioners to create experiences that truly resonate with wildland firefighters. Our team is carefully crafting each retreat to address the unique stressors and challenges of this community, ensuring the program is impactful, accessible, and life-changing.

We’re excited to announce that the first WARP retreat dates will be released in Fall 2025! These retreats will offer opportunities to relax, heal, and build resilience among peers who share similar experiences. Stay tuned as we continue to refine our offerings and roll out new details.
